Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual models of projects such as crushers, storage halls, stockpiles, plant facilities, and conveying systems.
  • Develop budgetary structural or civil models for projects to support long term planning activities.
  • Utilize 2D and 3D modeling software to produce models based on OEM or internal feedback
  • Coordinate with 3rd Party Engineers during transition from conceptual to detailed engineering to ensure intent is captured.
  • Develops general arrangement and layouts for use in minor projects or field modifications as requested.
  • Will be require periodic travel to Buzzi Unicem USA plants and terminal sites. Travel away from the home office is expected to be about 25%-30% of the time annually during weekdays for the initial engineering and scope development phases of a project. 

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in CAD Design or equivalent is required,
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred
  • 10-20 years in a designer, drafter, or modeler role with an engineering or equipment supply group
  • Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, 3D Modeling Software such as, but not limited to: Navisworks, Revit, and Civil 3D
