Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide variety of administrative duties to assist the Plant Manager in the business operations.
  • Assists in the preparation of agendas, presentation and reports of various meetings and plant functions.
  • Greets and assists visitors to the Plant. Maintains polite and professional communications via phone, email and mail.
  • Performs confidential responsibilities for Human Resources as needed, including preparing PANs, processing paperwork for new hires, employee transfers, pay adjustments, resignations and other employment related matters.
  • Assists Human Resources with communicating benefits information to employees, including but not limited to retirement and health and welfare programs.
  • Plans events as needed for all activities and sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintains tardy and attendance records/reports and reviews weekly paryroll for hourly associates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years previous office experience
  • Proficiency with various software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to conveying accurate and appropriate information.
