Red E Mix LLC (Buzzi Unicem USA) is hiring for a Operations Manager for concrete plants located in the following Illinois cities:  Highland, Troy, O’Fallon, Columbia, Litchfield, Jerseyville, Granite City and Mascoutah.

The Plant Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining and servicing all of the batch plants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Developing strategies to create optimal plant performance.
• Work with maintenance to ensure reliability of all facilities.
• Maintain required operating costs in alignment with yearly budget.
• Must have the ability to do repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment in a timely manner.
• Responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance of all ready mix plants.
• Attends all safety meetings and participates in safety training to gain a broader understanding of safety issues that will assist in maintaining a safe working environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required from an accredited institution
• 3+ years management experience in a concrete batching and delivery operation
• Willing to be hands on at the plants, filling in if needed
• Ability to diagnose and assist problems with the operation
• Ability to travel to plant locations, vehicle provided
• You will be required to pass a drugs test & background check
