Buzzi Unicem USA' s Cape Girardeau, MO Plant is looking for an Accounting Associate who will be responsible for processing weekly wage payroll including interpretation of the union contract.  The Accounting Associate will maintain raw material records.  This person will be responsible for production report data entry and distribution.  The candidate selected will be responsible for accounts payables invoice processing.  The Accounting Associate will backup for the office staff. 

Skill the candidate of this position must have are:

• Associates degree in accounting preferred or emphasis on accounting/bookkeeping
• 2-4 years general accounting experience
• Kronos Timekeeping knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of Oracle Financial System is a plus
• Proficiency with various software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to conveying accurate and appropriate information
