The Bulk Truck Driver reports to operations manager and is responsible for the safe, proper, and professional loading, transporting and unloading of raw materials and concrete products from vendor locations to plant locations.

• Prepares for the day by conducting a pre-trip inspection of the tractor / trailer prior to the first load

• Drives tractor and trailer to and from suppliers to plants or customers delivering and unloading aggregate or dry materials for production

• Maintains communication with operations manager, ensuring that all instructions are followed and delivery is performed efficiently, and safely. Properly processes paperwork at the point of delivery of the material to the assigned plant or customer. This includes verifying the proper product was unloaded at the assigned location. Maintains all paperwork and turns in to the plant operator or customer.
• Conducts a post-trip inspection at the end of the workday, fueling up and preparing the truck for the next days business, and maintains a clean, debris free truck according to the clean truck guidelines of the Company.
• Attends all safety meetings and participates in safety training to gain a broader understanding of safety issues that will assist in maintaining a safe working environment. Operates the tractor according to all legal and policy guidelines to protect the employee, the community, and the company.

• At least 21 years of age; High school diploma or GED desired
• Required to have and maintain Commercial Driver’s License (Class A)
• Employees must undergo and pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen
